Our book contains rare, historical, and never-before-seen photos documenting the creation of the ROCKY Statue: from first ideas, to modeling and development, foundry casting, installations at the PHL Museum of Art and beyond, and the phenomenon that the ROCKY Statue has become today! Some of our unique photos include those of Sylvester Stallone modeling for the sculptor, photos from Mr. Stallone’s gym, and other notable historical images related to the Statue’s creation. Throughout the book A. Thomas Schomberg shares his personal insights and memories creating the ROCKY Statue.
